Amazon Fire Phone Overall Specifications

Launched in July 2014, the Amazon Fire Phone aimed to redefine smartphone experience with its unique features, including Dynamic Perspective and Firefly technology. It sports a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display, providing a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, which offered crisp visuals for its time. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2 GB of RAM, it was designed to deliver smooth performance across applications and games.

The device comes with a 13 MP rear camera capable of capturing high-quality photos and a 2.1 MP front camera for video calls. One of its standout features, Dynamic Perspective, uses four front-facing cameras to track the user’s face and adjusts the display accordingly, providing a 3D-like experience. Firefly technology allowed users to quickly identify physical products and media, such as books and music, using the phone’s camera.

Amazon’s Fire Phone offered 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage, but it lacked microSD card support for expansion. It ran on Fire OS, a customized version of Android, which provided access to Amazon’s ecosystem of services and apps. However, the absence of Google Play Store limited its app selection compared to other Android phones.

The phone was equipped with a 2400 mAh battery, which was adequate for daily usage. Its connectivity options included Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS.
