Design and Build: Launched in 2004 and now discontinued, the Amoi A90 is a classic mobile device with dimensions of 86 x 44 x 21 mm and a weight of 83 grams. It accommodates a Mini-SIM, featuring a slim and lightweight design that enhances its portability and ease of use.
Display: The A90 boasts a color graphics display supporting up to 4K colors with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. It also includes a secondary external mono OLED display measuring 80 x 48 pixels, ideal for quickly checking notifications and the time without needing to open the main display.
Memory and Storage: With no card slot available, the A90 relies on its internal storage capabilities, supporting a phonebook with up to 500 entries across 8 fields and maintaining call records including 10 dialed, 10 received, and 10 missed calls.
Sound and Communication: This model does not have a loudspeaker or a 3.5mm jack but includes vibration alerts and supports downloadable polyphonic ringtones, allowing users to personalize their call and message notifications. The device’s connectivity options are basic, with no WLAN or Bluetooth capabilities, but it supports SMS, MMS, and Email via a WAP 1.2.1 browser.
Battery Life: Equipped with a removable Li-Ion 550 mAh battery, the A90 provides up to 90 hours of standby time and up to 3 hours of talk time, which is sufficient for day-to-day communication needs without frequent recharges.
Additional Features: The phone is enriched with several functionalities such as downloadable games, ringtones, screensavers, and wallpapers for personalization and entertainment. It also features predictive text input for faster typing, an organizer to help keep tasks scheduled, and does not support Java applications.
