Icemobile Sol Overview
The Icemobile Sol was a basic feature phone released in October 2011. It wasn’t designed to compete with the high-end smartphones of the day, but rather to provide a simple and affordable option for making calls and sending texts.
Despite its modest feature set, the Sol offered a few key functionalities. It came with a small 2.4-inch TFT display, a basic VGA camera, and an 850 mAh battery. While web browsing and social media wouldn’t have been an option on this phone, it would have been sufficient for users who primarily needed a reliable device for communication.
