O2 Xphone II Overview
Release Date: The O2 Xphone II was announced in the fourth quarter of 2004.
Network and Connectivity: It operates on GSM technology with 2G bands GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 and supports GPRS (Class 10). However, it does not support EDGE.
Design and Body: The phone has dimensions of 107 x 44 x 18 mm and weighs 102 g. It uses a Mini-SIM card.
Display: The Xphone II features a TFT display with 65K colors. It has a 2.2-inch screen with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.
Memory: The phone comes with 32MB of internal storage and includes a miniSD card slot with a 64MB card included.
Camera: It has a VGA main camera capable of capturing video.
Sound: The phone includes a loudspeaker and supports vibration alerts, as well as downloadable polyphonic ringtones. It does not have a 3.5mm jack.
Communications: The Xphone II supports Bluetooth and includes an infrared port. However, it does not support WLAN or radio. There’s no USB connectivity.
Features: It comes with WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML browsers, allowing basic internet access. It includes an MP3/MP4 player, predictive text input, and organizer features.
Battery: Powered by a removable Li-Ion battery, the Xphone II provides up to 140 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours and 30 minutes of talk time.
Color Options: The O2 Xphone II was available in various colors.
