Network: Telit G40 operates on GSM technology with 2G bands covering GSM 900 and 1800, supporting GPRS at Class 7 level.
Launch and Body: The Telit G40 was announced in Q2 of 2003 and is now discontinued. It has dimensions of 105 x 46 x 18.5 mm and weighs 75 g, making it compact and lightweight. The phone uses a Mini-SIM card.
Display and Memory: The phone features a monochrome graphic display with a resolution of 101 x 80 pixels. Users can personalize their device with downloadable logos and backgrounds. It supports contact groups in the phonebook and has advanced call records functionality.
Sound and Features: Telit G40 doesn’t have a loudspeaker or a 3.5mm jack. However, it supports vibration and polyphonic ringtones for alerts. It enables SMS and EMS messaging, along with basic features like a clock, alarm, and organizer. Additionally, it comes with four pre-installed games: Maze box, Failing, GridGuest, and Dengo.
Battery: Powered by a removable Li-Ion 610 mAh battery, the Telit G40 offers a standby time of up to 240 hours and talk time of up to 2 hours and 30 minutes.
